	Sets Management For Plans and Specifications The Sets Management Lists is probably one of the most useful lists within Tangentworks 550. Sets Management is similar to Shared Documents in that authorized users can upload and download specs, drawings and documents of any file type for sharing on their Workspaces. The key difference with the Sets Management list type is that it tracks documents being released as “sets”. Sets can be named anything you wish, but these are typically names like “Pricing Set”, “Addendum 1”, “For Construction”, “Revision #2”, etc. Like the real world you assemble a set of documents and then you release them and you can not go back and change them except by issuing a new release set. These lists work the same way. Documents are placed into a “pending set” and only when they’re locked are they included into the Current Set. Current Release Set The Current Set is not a release but rather a compilation of all the latest documents from all of the releases which shows only the latest version of a document. So quickly anyone can see what the most current set is at any time. The image below shows the Current Release Set

1	Use the drop-down to change from “Current Release Set” to “Pending Release Set” or any of the previously released sets.
2	Edit Pending Set, Lock Pending Set or View all Release Sets
3	Easily expand all rows to show all thumbnails.
4	Use the triangle to see the thumbnail of a particular record.
5	By using the checkboxes you can quickly download, email, or edit all the selected records.
6	Use the drop-down to change the number of records being viewed from 25 to 50, 100, or All.
7	Indicates how many records are being viewed and how many records are in the total Current Release Set.

Previously Released Sets

At anytime a user can look at only the documents released in a set. This allows for detailed analysis of changes from one release to another.

	Want to see exactly what was re-issued in a particular release? By clicking on a Release Name you can easily see what documents were re-issued in any release set. Release number 3 above was a release of civil drawings only. Here’s the detail of what was issued.



	Want to see exactly how many times a document was released? Tangentworks 550 allows you to see all of the versions of a particular document. Very convenient if you’re trying to track down when a particular change was made.
