As we developed our own project management solution at Tangentworks, we structured it to complement the way most AEC firms and their projects are organized: in a pyramid, with the entity that coordinates information at the top.
This design helps your organization work the way it was designed to workâ”with information flowing naturally up and down to the appropriate people. Without frustrating obstructions, miscommunications or delays.
Here’s how our pyramid structure uniquely fosters productivity:
If your company is smaller and doesntt have Divisions, skip Level 2 and create your Client Workspaces on Level 3, as shown on the left.
One- or two-person companies typically organize their work based on individual projects, not clients. If that’s how you work, skip Levels 2 and 3 and create your Project Workspaces on Level 4, as the next example show.
We strongly recommend that you follow our standard structure so that your Pyramid aligns with all others for maximum functionality. There is no charge for skipping levels.
